Assistant Training Course

·      Current Watsu Practitioner

·      Taken Watsu I at least 3 times (or Watsu I twice and Watsu II twice}

·      Submit Resume to WABA

·      Recommendation from a WABA Instructor

·      Background Certification (no violence/

     weapons/sex-related criminal history)

·      Cover Letter of Intent-Why you wish to be an Assistant

         

 

Registered Assistants may offer:

 

·      Introductions

·      Experiences

·      Supervisions

3 Days/30 hrs.

 Watsu I Instructor Training Course

 

·      Have attended a class instructed by Harold Dull

·      Successful Completion of the Assistant Training Course

·      Minimum of 3 Assists of Watsu I or 2 assists of Watsu I and 2 assists of Watsu II with a registered Instructor

·      Recommendations from an approved Instructor

·      Cover Letter of Intent-Why you wish to be an Instructor

         

Basic Watsu Instructors may:

 

·      Offer Basic Watsu Course Independently

·    Co-Teach Watsu I with an ESAC approved WABA Instructor

·      Register Students on the Web Site

7 Days/75 hrs.

To Offer Watsu I Independently

 

·   Successful completion of Watsu         Instructor Training Course

·        Co-Teach 2 Watsu I courses with approved Instructor

·      Teach Watsu I Independently with an approved Coach/Advisor

·        Receive a successful evaluation from your Coach/Advisor and recommendation from the ESAC

·    Recommended to experience one assist in a 1 Watsu II 

·      Final Approval of your ESAC recommendation by the WABA Board

 

Watsu I  Instructors may:

 

·       Offer Watsu I Independently

·       Register Students on the Web Site

To Offer Watsu II

Independently

 

·        Successfully Teach 4 Watsu I Courses

·        Assist at least 3 Watsu II Courses in which you receive 80% or higher Very Good or Excellent feedback scores.

·        Have completed a personal, professional project that has received prior subject approval from the ESAC committee (a 15-20 hour project)

·       Co-Teach 2 Watsu II courses with approved WABA Instructors or Coach/Advisor

·         Teach 1 Watsu II Independently with an approved Coach/Advisor

·        Demonstrate competency in Watsu II evaluation techniques

·        Receive a successful evaluation from your Coach/Advisor and recommendation from the ESAC

·        Final Approval of your ESAC recommendation by the WABA Board

Watsu II Instructors may:

·      Offer Watsu II Independently
